Q: What’s the design process like?
A: After placing your order and submitting the design form:
We create and deliver 5 distinct ebook cover concepts.
You choose one, request revisions until it meets your satisfaction.
Once the ebook cover is finalized, we wait for your book interior to be formatted.
Then, using your finished interior specs (trim size, page count, etc.), we produce all print and hardback covers.
Q: Are there extra costs beyond the package price?
A: Only under certain conditions:
If you choose to use paid stock images, there will be a charge. We’ll always send image options, licensing, and pricing for your approval before using them.
You also have the option to use only free stock images at no extra cost.
Q: Can I keep all Three cover designs?
A: No. The package includes your selection of ONE cover from the five concepts. If you want to retain additional concepts, those come with an extra fee.
Q: What happens after I choose my design?
A:
We will immediately deliver the final ebook cover.
Once your book’s interior is formatted (which determines trim size, page count, and spine width), send us those details. We’ll then create your paperback and hardback print covers.
Q: What details are needed for the print covers?
A: After formatting your interior, we’ll require:
Trim size for paperback and hardback
Final page count
Interior type: black & white or color
Paper color (white or cream—we recommend cream)
Back cover text / blurb
ISBN for paperback and hardback (note: IngramSpark requires its own ISBNs if you’re using them; Amazon‐assigned ISBNs cannot be used for IngramSpark)
Q: I don’t think I’ll need all the formats (e.g. IngramSpark or ACX). Can I opt out or get a discount?
A: The package price is fixed and includes all formats listed. Even if you choose not to use certain versions, the cost remains the same.
Q: How long is the turnaround?
A:
Initial 5 ebook cover concepts: within 7 business days after order + design brief.
Final print covers (paperback & hardback): within 3 business days after we receive your formatted interior and all print specs.
Q: Can I request revisions after selecting the final design?
A:
Yes—you can request revisions on your selected concept until you are fully satisfied.
Once you give final approval, any further changes may incur additional charges.
Q: What if I change my mind after everything is finalized?
A: After final approval, the choice is locked in. Unused concepts are archived; if you later decide you’d like one of them, you can purchase it separately.

Q: What are the legal terms I should be aware of?
A:
Work begins once your order is processed; sales are final.
If major changes are requested after more than 20% of work is completed, additional fees and extended timelines may apply.
You are responsible for providing accurate print specs (trim size, page count, etc.). We are not liable for errors or issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information or from printer constraints.
After full payment, you’ll own full rights to the approved final design. Unused concepts remain our property but can be purchased if needed.
