  1. Included Formats & Pricing
    The price of this package covers all the formats listed (KDP, IngramSpark, ACX). Whether or not you use every format does not change the package fee.

  2. Order Processing & Refunds
    We begin work as soon as your order is placed and processed. Because of this, all orders are non-refundable once processing starts.

  3. Changes & Additional Fees
    If you request substantial adjustments after more than 20% of the design work has been completed, extra fees may apply, and delivery may be delayed.

  4. Client Responsibility & Timelines
    Turnaround time depends on your timely submission of the order form, complete details, and all required formatting specs for print covers. Delays in providing these may extend delivery times.

  5. Accuracy of Client-Supplied Specifications
    The Publishing Edge is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect specifications supplied by you (for example: trim size, spine width, formatting requirements). It is your responsibility to supply correct and final specs.

The Cover Expansion Pack FAQ

Q: What’s the difference between this package and the full Book Cover Design Package?
This Resizing & Printing Package is just for folks who already have an ebook cover (that we didn’t design) and need it adjusted for different formats like paperback, hardback, or audiobook. Unlike the full design package, we won’t be creating brand new designs or multiple concepts — only resizing and formatting your existing cover so it looks great across all your platforms.

Q: What files do you need from me?
To get your cover print-ready, we’ll need:

  • The source file of your ebook cover (PSD, AI, or a sharable Canva link)

  • Trim sizes (dimensions) for the paperback and hardback versions

  • Final page count (so the spine width is spot on)

  • Whether the interior is black & white or color

  • Whether paper is cream or white (cream tends to feel more polished!)

  • Back cover blurb (and any other text like author bio, etc.)

  • ISBN (if you’re publishing with IngramSpark and already have one)

Q: Which cover formats are included?
You’ll get:

  • One KDP Paperback cover

  • One KDP Hardback cover

  • One ACX (audiobook) cover

Plus, if you want, you can add these for a small extra fee:

  • IngramSpark Paperback cover

Q: How long will this take?
Once we’ve got everything we need from you, our standard turnaround is 3 business days. If you’ve added IngramSpark covers, it might take a little more time — but we’ll keep you in the loop every step of the way.

Q: Can I request revisions?
Yes — we want your cover to look perfect. Minor tweaks and layout/format adjustments are included. Just a heads-up: this package doesn’t cover new design ideas or totally different cover concepts.

Q: Why do you need the book fully formatted first?
The page count affects the spine width, which is crucial for print covers. If the formatting isn’t finalized, the cover might not fit properly when printed.

Q: What’s your refund policy if I change my mind?
Since we start work and allocate resources right away, refunds aren’t usually possible once work has begun. But don’t worry — if you need to delay or tweak something, we can offer store credit.

Q: My ebook cover was made in a different program — is that okay?
Probably yes! Just drop us a message before ordering so we can double-check that your file format will work with us.
